the dictator is about a journey that the dictator of wadiya makes to new york to address the united nation on the account of whether there will be a regime change or not. the made-up country of wadiya situates on the ground of current day somalia and ethiopia; expectedly it's rich with oil.
the colonel general aladeen was portrayed by sacha baron cohen, who is best known by his title role in borat: cultural learnings of america for make benefit glorious nation of kazakhstan. here i should say, no one would go to the dictator to enjoy a well made, oscar-deserving movie; it was a shitty movie indeed. but i gotta say, i enjoyed watching it with its soundtrack and vulgar language, even though they were quite offensive.
not really recommended to go and pay for the $5 to watch on the big screen in a theatre, you can rent it or pirate it to enjoy it later on. you won't miss anything.
