#photoadayAug 2012

Last month, I didn't manage to finish the #photoadayJuly challenge due to a lot of travelling into countryside where there is no internet connection and scarcity of battery charging. LOL. This month of August might be the same, but we'll see how it goes. Here I'll start editing this draft by inserting the photo from my Instagram everyday, if I can.

UPDATE: Sorry I didn't really upload or take photos during my tour guiding job.

Harry Connick Jr. - Cry Me a River

For some time, you feel like some certain song is destined for you or you deserve it or something. Currently I feel the same way about this one. As if I should/would/could/might/want/will cry a river to someone. Hope this one would get replaced by Come by Me by the same artist.

Without my sullen thoughts on this one, it's still quite a cool and very New Orleans kinda song and artist.

Taupe | M.A.C Lipstick

If you have been reading my blog frequently this year, you might have noticed that I am getting more and more obsessed with make-up, especially lipsticks. I am not trying to become a beauty guru or anything, just trying to find the perfect shades of lipsticks for myself - the perfect red, brown, pink and natural. And I think I found my perfect brown with the help from my friend since childhood - Mindy and Nikki.

It's M.A.C's lipstick in TAUPE, with matte finish from its permanent collection. Although it might appear very very deep brown in the photos, take it at my words - it's not. It's the perfect "heavy-natural" shade for daily use. I think I'll get quite a use out of it in this Autumn.

What is your favourite lipstick lately?

Ann Coppin's Mongolia Custom Trip

My September trip was between Aug 28th and Sep 22nd with Ann and Blythe, who are from Australia. They are in cattle business and wanted to see the similar culture, which is Mongolia and its rural lifestyle. I enjoyed the overall trip and loved working with them. Here are some of the pictures I took during this trip. Click here for the Flickr set for more.

My August trip this year was the Gobi-to-Hovsgol trip with Debbie and Greg Trewitt between August 6th and 27th. Click here for the Flickr set of photographs.

I know I am way too late on this post, but I went to Playtime 2012 on August 4th and 5th this year and for something that was rumoured to had been cancelled, it was amazing - I really enjoyed myself. I am so lucky that I was on break from tour guiding during the festival.

Social awareness project that won.

Here is one shot with my lovely Nomin.

My friend Indra has tweeted me this video link the other day and I think this should reach to everyone who is living in this digitally controlled world.

P.S. I am back in town for a couple of days. Expect some travel pictures. (what an irony)

Late noticed encounter

When a colossal part of your life disappears, you notice how attached you were to that part and start not being able to ignore or fool yourself anymore. Over the time, that attachment grows into affection. But if you keep silent or noble, it slips through your hands or becomes something you CAN NOT really cherish in the end. In the end, you're left there picking up the pieces...
